We are thrilled to introduce the newest grantee partners of our So Love Can Win Fund!
Akonadi Foundation’s So Love Can Win Fund provides project grants ranging from $10,000 to $30,000 to Oakland’s organizers, culture bearers, storytellers, and healers. Through this fund, we remain deeply committed to investing in historically marginalized communities in Oakland to advance belonging and inspire radical imagination towards racial justice.
This year’s grantees are advancing:
- Storytelling that uplifts narratives of togetherness and belonging.
- Spaces that bring people together to foster deeper understanding and collective action.
- Projects and initiatives that strengthen collaboration among movement leaders, community leaders, and artists/culture bearers.
In total, we awarded $400,000 across 23 initiatives and organizations that are helping move Oakland toward freedom and liberation.
