A coalition of East Bay arts funders has joined forces with the city of Oakland to create a relief fund of $625,000 to support artists and cultural works affected by the coronavirus pandemic.
The East Bay/Oakland Relief Fund for Individuals in the Arts, announced on Monday, May 18, will award grants of up to $2,000 to individual artists in Alameda and Contra Costa counties, with a total of $300,000 earmarked for Oakland residents. Read More
