National Center for Youth Law (NCYL)

NCYL: $75,000 for one year.

The National Center for Youth Law (NCYL) has been at the forefront of establishing and protecting the rights of children in need since 1970. Low-income children deserve resources, opportunities, and support to succeed in life, and NCYL was founded to use the law to improve the lives of these children. NCYL is led by advocates who have personal experience and extensive expertise in issues affecting poor youth of color. These advocates employ a wide range of tools, including legal and policy advocacy, grassroots organizing, and working directly with community leaders to develop and implement reforms that improve the quality of life for local youth of color.
